Bleach Soul Puzzle launches worldwide this month on iOS and Android

  • Bleach Soul Puzzle is aiming for a worldwide release this month
  • You’ll be able to grab the first puzzle game based on the hit series on September 24th
  • A special competition is also underway to mark the occasion

Bleach Soul Puzzle, the first game reportedly based on the hit anime and manga series by Tite Kubo, is set to release for iOS and Android on September 24th. Developer KLabs is also marking the occasion with a special contest, giving away exclusive merchandise to lucky fans following the game’s official X account.

For those not familiar (somehow) with the series Bleach, created by Tite Kubo, was one of Shonen Jump’s flagship series in the early 2000s. Following teenager Ichigo Kurosaki who becomes a shinigami (grim reaper) it has all the thrills, fights and grandiose attack names you’d expect from a shonen series. And thanks to the recent resurrection of the anime series it seems as if the favourite of everyone who was a teenager in the 2000s has been given another lease on life.

However, for those fans expecting a unique take on the puzzle genre, they may be a little disappointed. While it definitely looks to be competently made, it’s otherwise what you would expect from a match-3 with an admittedly high-quality coat of shonen paint.

Still, if you are a Bleach super-fan and want to find a way to get more of your favourite series and characters, you could do a lot worse than Bleach Soul Puzzle. As I wrote above, you’ll find it on September 24th, launching worldwide on the iOS App Store and Google Play.
