Capybara Go! is the new game from Habby that’s perfect for any Capybara maniacs out there

  • Capybara Go! is the new rodent-based title from Habby games
  • It focused on, what else, Capybaras!
  • These massive rodents are what populate this new roguelike adventure title

When it comes to oversized rodents there is one that seems to have captured the hearts of billions. And that’s the Capybara, an enormous rodent (the largest, in fact) that’s native to Central and South America. It’s also the star of the latest game from Habby, Capybara Go! So what’s this game, with a starring role for these adorable critters, got to offer? Well, let’s find out!

You may take a look at the screenshots of Capybara Go! and expect to see that it’s some sort of pet-collecting. Not so, in fact, this game posits itself as a roguelike text adventure of all things! Obviously, it’s a bit more graphical than that, but it’s not hard to see where the developer has drawn inspiration from.

It also promises something tantalisingly named the Chaotic Capybara route, which I can only assume is some kind of story that lives up to its name. For most of us, however, whether or not Capybara Go! can live up to its bold promises depends on how it delivers when it gets in our hands.

That’s one big rat

Capybara Go! seems to already be out on iOS, however, it’s yet to debut fully on Google Play. Personally speaking, I’m not all that familiar with Habby’s previous work apart from the oft-discussed Survivor.io, but I’m interested to see if Capybara Go! manages to carry off what seems to be a fairly original concept or at least the veneer of one.
