Tip #1 – Don’t Rely on Auto-Battle
This is a game where you’re controlling a party of characters to fight waves and waves of increasingly difficult battles…Of course, there’s going to be an auto-battle system. This will be made available to you pretty early on and you’ll be tempted to use it in the early stages. Since the enemies at the start are made of butter and cotton balls, the auto-battle system will carry you quite far until you meet enemies that use strategy. The system tends to abuse all your best moves and limited energy for attacking, but not for defending or healing, and that will bury your team six feet under.

Tip #2 – Level Up at every opportunity
It shouldn’t have to be said in a game like this, but levelling up is important. No matter how many fights you fight, your characters will be looking to you to get stronger. You’ll collect little EXP orbs that can be used to improve your characters’ levels by eating them or bathing in them or whatever works for your head-canon. Levelling up really does make a significant difference as the battles ramp up, especially right before you hit boss encounters. There may be times when you need to grind, but this is an RPG, after all.

Tip #3 – Prioritise your higher-grade Characters
When you choose to offer up prayers to the signal tower shrine of gacha in the corner of the hub, you’ll have a chance to get new characters. This may be one of the strictest gacha systems in mobile gaming that requires you to have special gacha tickets or enough crystals for a single pull. However, character events are common and chances for three-star characters or better are higher than usual. Should you get any of these golden geese, make them your favourites and put them into your team. They already start with improved stat and more room to level up and decimate enemy teams.

Tip #4 – HAVE A HEALER
Every character has a special ability associated with them that you can trigger at will or with auto-battle. They do things like heavy damage, critical hits, buffing your team, or the highly favoured healing. Though the healer role is one that every standard and expert team needs to have, when it comes to gacha, you need luck. So, unless you’re lucky enough to get a healer in the first few pulls, you should grind to get more pulls until you get one. This will significantly raise your survival rate so that you can consistently make it to the final waves.

Tip #5 – Mind your Stamina
Another part of this game that’s a bit rigid and stingy is the Stamina system. RPG games with energy or stamina are common, but it’s possible to rack up tons of points for it just by playing until you have excess amounts. This game does not do that – it caps your Stamina at a low number, consumes it quickly, and doesn’t offer many chances to restore it. You’ll only improve the overall amount by levelling up, and that can take a while. Decide beforehand how you’re going to spend your Stamina so that you’re making progress. If you ever have to retry, just don’t spend whatever Stamina you have left on something else.

Tip #6 – Attack First, Special Later
There is strategy involved in this game where your character has a choice between three actions: Attack, Defend, and Special. The first two cost nothing, but using Specials will eat the energy meter at the bottom of the screen which is shared between all of your characters. The only way to restore the energy is to land regular attacks which means enduring further counterattacks. Specials can be used to eliminate enemies very rapidly, but until you know what’s in store, you should always save some energy for if you need support specials for healing, improving defence, or dodging just so that your characters can continue standing.

Tip #7 – Examine the Hub
When you’re not roaming the gaming worlds or praying for the gacha tower to answer you with a healer, then you can just hang around the hub world. This is an opportunity to wander around and talk to all the different characters you’ve managed to pull. By doing this, you can increase their Explorer level and by doing that, they’ll eventually find and gift you with useful items. There are also treasure chests that will pop up around the hub hiding extra goodies. They’ll restock over time, so make sure to visit them periodically. Sometimes real power can be found right in the home base.
That’s the complete guide for Disney Pixel RPG. And since you find them useful, note that you can also find a guide for Last War Survival and a Top Heroes guide along with many others.
