  • 10 million downloads in just four months
  • The game was also nominated at the Australian Game Developer Awards
  • New updates planned for the game as well

Not Doppler’s latest release, Earn to Die Rogue, has hit a massive milestone, surpassing 10 million downloads just four months after its launch in May. The franchise has always been popular, but to hit such a big number in such a short time is a monumental task. Not only that but the title was also nominated for the Excellence in Mobile award at the Australian Game Developer Awards.

In Earn to Die Rogue, you explore zombie-infested buildings while scavenging for loot and car parts to improve your chances of survival. As you blast through buildings, you will unlock power-ups and new rides that will keep you going. You can keep strengthening your hero with all the upgrades that you unlock.

A world plagued by zombies is one where everything around you must be used strategically. Abandoned cars need not gather rust as a little bit of tinkering can transform them into zombie smashers. From sports cars to hovercrafts, you will slowly have everything at your disposal. Add spiked frames and guns on the roof to make them even deadlier.

In addition to this, the developers have been regularly introducing new content to the game. Recent updates include new stages, game modes like Heat Mode and Daily Challenge Mode, and gameplay enhancements such as new power-ups, enemies, and traps. A new LiveOps events feature is also in the works and should be released soon.

While this is the first new Earn to Die title in nearly a decade, the franchise has been far from dormant. The previous instalment continues to generate over 10 million organic downloads annually on Google Play and top the iOS Paid Games Charts in 135 countries.

Besides that, on October 9th we will find out if the game wins the Excellence in Mobile award at the Australian Game Developer Awards, where it competes with popular titles like Dumb Ways to Survive and Tingus Goose.
