NetEase Games has just announced the winners of Eggy Party’s first-ever global Eggyverse Workshop Championship. There were over 55,000 participants from various countries and more than 71,000 user-generated maps were submitted. From cash prizes to in-game goodies, loads of rewards were given over the course of the event.
Eggy Party’s Eggyverse Workshop allowed budding creators to build custom maps, which were also shared online with others. In this tournament, LGD was awarded the coveted Super Master Craftsman title. Over the course of the competition, she produced 12 high-quality maps, including the stage Rain at 27 Degrees, which garnered over 150,000 plays. She was awarded a $20,000 cash prize, an official contracted creator status, and a nomination for the game’s Developer Credits.
The competition didn’t stop there, though. Twenty creators were named Regional Shining Star Builders for their map creation skills, each earning $1,000, 6,888 Egg Coins, and an official title. Additionally, in the event-introduced category, 20 designers were also awarded the Workshop Rising Stars for their promising work, winning $188, 1,088 Egg Coins, and the Rising Star title.
Furthermore, the Eggyverse Workshop also featured a Popular Maps Leaderboard, where 200 maps were ranked based on community votes. Finally, social media also played a role as 20 winners were picked on the basis of view counts and content quality.

Eggy Party has been a great space for creators in the two years since its launch.
