We’ve written a lot about upcoming Indian-made shooters this year. Whether that’s the upcoming battle royale Indus, or today’s subject, the more modern FPS FAU-G: Domination. And after a period of closed testing and feedback, the latter is finally set to let players freely get hands-on with it! But there’s a catch, you’ll have to be at IGDC 2024.
The Indian Games Developers Conference 2024 event, taking place in the city of Hyderabad in India, will offer a chance for the press, fellow developers and attendees alike to give this game a go. Set in the near future, FAU-G: Domination sees you taking the role of Indian special forces in a series of tactical wargames.
It boasts competitive multiplayer with a variety of modes, and two new ones that’ll debut at IGDC 2024 with Kiss of Death and 1v1. That’s alongside revamped visuals, sound and other improvements hot off the back of recent player feedback that Dot9 Games clearly hopes will catch people’s eyes.
Dominating
The Indian market is, you might be surprised to learn, absolutely massive. And it’s one that’s continuously growing, so the competition is fierce amongst Indian developers to develop the first home-grown hit that’ll take attention away from overseas imports. Many of them are selling themselves on being quintessentially Indian in terms of design and setting, so it’s little surprise that Dot9 are choosing a major event for gamers, press and devs alike to debut FAU-G to the public.
