The Free Fire World Series Global Finals 2024 has unveiled the huge roster of 18 teams that’ll be competing to take home the gold, and even more details about these finals. Garena’s flagship esports event, taking place in Rio De Janeiro this November, will see teams competing for the lion’s share of a whopping $1m prize pool. The lineup includes top teams from previous esports events all around the world.
The contest is set to commence from November 8th to November 17th, starting with the knockout stage, where the 18 teams will be narrowed down to 12. After that, November 22nd to the 23rd will see the “Point Rush Stage” which offers a head-start in the grand finals.
Finally, the Grand Finals commence and finish on November 24th, where the contestants will find out who has accrued the most points to be crowned as champions.
Free fire zone
The teams competing come from a variety of esports qualifiers across the globe. There are eight teams from FFWS Southeast Asia 2024 Fall, three from FFWS Latin America, four from FFWS Brazil and the winning team from FFWS Pakistan. So it’s safe to say this is a truly global competition that’ll have esports and Free Fire fans chomping at the bit to see just who will take home the gold in Rio De Janeiro this November.
