Kartrider Rush+ Season 28 Olympos Update brings a new Survival Racing mode and much more

• Season 28 of the popular kart racer is now live
• It features a 64-player, team versus tournament called Survival Racing mode
• A new track as well as new characters and karts join the roster

KartRider Rush+’s latest update – update 28 ‘Olympos’ – is now live in game and it’s a doozy.

While we’ve perhaps become quite accustomed to the regular content drops that come with Nexon’s frequently-updated season-based content for the kart racer, there’s some incredibly fun stuff included in the most recent season. 

For a start, and the real headliner for me, there’s a new mode called Survival Racing. In that eight groups of eight players join a tournament and race to the end. Each game consists of four rounds, and the top players from those round advance to the next stage. It’s a little bit battle-royale, survival of the fastest, and while it’s certainly not the biggest innovation to make survival modes bigger, it adds a thrilling, longer-play mode into the mix.

In addition to the new mode there’s a tonne of new features, which you can find listed below: 

• “Swift New Highlight Karts – In addition to the Crash Thunderbolt and Flash Thunderbolt karts, racers can hop into all-new highlight karts, Mantis Buggy and White Cow to zoom past the competition.
• Adventurous Tracks – The dynamic, twisted track Zeus’ Domain (Olympos) is available now, and Gates of Destiny (Olympos) and Dimensional Gateway (Norse) will be added soon.
• Fresh New Characters – Leave the competition in the dust with all-new playable characters including Bello, Priestess Marid, Angel Mobi and Nature’s Bounty Bazzi.
• Survival Racing Mode – Season 28 introduces the brand-new ‘Survival Racing’ mode, where eight groups of eight players compete in a special tournament. Each game consists of four rounds, with the top four players from each round advancing to the next.
• Celebratory Events – To commemorate the new season, a wide variety of events will be available. Players will have up to five chances to open K-Coin Envelopes and earn plenty of K-Coins until October 2. Additionally, players can earn the Olympos Driftmoji (Perm), No.1 Balloon, K-Coins, and more by completing daily and cumulative missions, such as joining Ranked Mode and logging in, until October 9th. Lastly, KartRider Rush+ will feature 300% EXP and Lucci benefits as well as additional Ranked Mode points and penalty-free Ranked races from October 1 to October 9.
• ZANMANG LOOPY – The collaboration with the popular character ZANMANG LOOPY will be added to the game on October 2, including all-new karts, racers, decor and various event content.”
