Regular readers of Pocket Gamer will be aware that we released a brand new website called PocketGamer.fun. It’s a site we’ve made in collaboration with domain specialists Radix, intending to help you find your next favourite game quickly.
So, if you’re looking for distilled recommendations, head over to the site, be greeted with dozens of great games and download any that take your fancy. Alternatively, if you’re happy with a little more reading, we’ll regularly post articles like this one to update you on what we’ve posted on the site in the last week or so.
Someone’s always sus
In the last few years, Among Us exploded in popularity. Whether people were playing with their pals or watching Twitch streamers lose their minds with one another, it became a bit of a phenomenon. The game itself is incredibly simple, but it’s the social interactions it fosters that make it so compelling. Among Us isn’t the only one, however. So if you’re bored of The Skeld – the other maps aren’t as good, let’s be honest – why not try out the other social deduction games we’ve listed on PocketGamer.fun.
What to download on Google Play Pass
Compared to Netflix Games and Apple Arcade, Google Play Pass is the oft-forgotten subscription service on mobile. Now, that’s not entirely surprising, particularly since Apple Arcade and Netflix boast several exclusives and original offerings. However, that doesn’t mean Google Play Pass doesn’t have some excellent games to enjoy. However, they are a little buried, so we created a list to get you started.
Game of the Week
Legend of the Skyfish 2
The original Legend of the Skyfish was a delightful time, so when news of a sequel broke, everyone was appropriately excited. And, thankfully, as Will stated in his review, it’s a worthy follow-up. If you’re unfamiliar with the series, it sees you dabbling in a spot of fishing, fighting and puzzle-solving. It maintains the charm of the original while pushing the boat out on the graphics front.
