  • Haegin’s social gaming platform Play Together is adding a new set of pets
  • This time it’s lizards
  • There are 13 different kinds in total to catch

Haegin’s social gaming platform, Play Together, is once more seeing the addition of new collectable goodies for players to obsess over. This time it’s a new critter to their already expansive pet lineup, as a variety of lizards crawl onto Kaia Island. All of which can be captured, catalogued and collected as part of a new event.

There are 13 varieties of lizards being added, ranging from the tiny Nosy Hara Leaf Chameleon to a massive Black Tree monitor. All of them can, conveniently, be captured with a simple swing of a bug net. You can then register each new capture in your Illustrated Book, and completing it will grant you the new Lizard Enclosure furniture.

To mark the new additions, on September 21st, the Lizard Catcher Competition will go live, challenging players to locate and capture hidden lizards. You can enter by tapping the Trophy button on the right side of the game screen, and you’ll gain a variety of themed rewards based on your final ranking.

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that Haegin is adding more to Play Together. Given it’s directed towards younger players (I think?) they have plenty of time on their hands to go around catching digital lizards. But regardless it’s still impressive to have this lineup added after they’d already introduced ponies earlier this month.
