- Reverse: 1999 is announcing its first-anniversary update
- Bluepoch’s hit ARPG is rewarding players with a free 6-star character
- There’s also a free 5-star character and even more rewards
Bluepoch’s hit ARPG Reverse: 1999 has finally hit its first anniversary. To celebrate, version 19 – which debuts today – they are offering players some amazing rewards. A free 6-star and 5-star character, along with 30 free pulls (100 for first-time players), meaning you’ll be getting your time’s worth when you log in this month!
But what about those characters? Well, fans will already know the 5-star as Matilda leaps into your roster for free if you haven’t recruited her already. But the more interesting one is the 6-star character, Semmelweis, who I’m sure has no problem being in close proximity to garlic or religious iconography.
In addition, the latest banner is also live with the Metropolis-inspired robot Lucy debuting as a 6-star DPS. She debuts as part of the Thoughts in Cylinder banner. Meanwhile, Kakania, who you’ll already have encountered in version 1.7, arrives October 10th in the banner Observation into the Mirrors.
Reset that clock
Reverse: 1999 is one of those games that’s always fun to write about, if only because it manages to stand out a bit more from other gacha games in the unusual inspirations it draws from. And while I doubt this anniversary event will draw in any gacha sceptics I’m sure it’ll be great for fans. Especially the upcoming offline events and others marking the first-year birthday of Reverse: 1999.
