- Teamfight Tactics is reintroducing a new set revival with Revival: Dawn of Heroes
- Bringing back the mid-set update of Reckoning: Dawn of Heroes with its own dedicated game mode
- Check out the new progression system and more!
Teamfight Tactics is set to introduce its second set revival, where old champions and traits from previous sets are reintroduced for a limited time with a modern twist, with Revival: Dawn of Heroes. Based on the previous Reckoning: Dawn of Heroes set, this new revival will see the reintroduction of a new progression system based on the mid-set update and more!
Aside from the mode itself, where you can jump back into the old set, you’ll also find that the Revival Ladder progression system has also been reintroduced where you can unlock free ranks and rewards for progressing through the Revival game mode.
Not only that, but you’ll note that there are all new champion augments that are retrofitted into the set, alongside an updated Ceremony where Pengu descends onto the board to grant blessings to your units. Revivals are temporary game modes, and you’ll be able to enjoy Revival: Dawn of Heroes starting on September 25th and ending on November 4th.
Balancing act
I think one of the primary intrigues, and frustrations, of multiplayer games with as much longevity as that of the League of Legends series is that things can change so much over the course of only a few years. Case in point with Teamfight Tactics, and the fact that just bringing back old sets can still drastically change up gameplay enough to warrant their own mode.
