UTS APPLICATION
UTS on Mobile App is an official android mobile ticketing app of Indian Railways to book train tickets without reservation.
Who can use the utsonmobile app?
The service is not available to any person below the age of seventeen years or previously suspended or withdrawn from the services by Indian Railway.
By accepting the Terms and Conditions or otherwise using the Service or Website, the individual concerned shall be deemed to be at least seventeen years of age and has not been previously suspended or removed from the Services by Indian Railway. The individual represents and warrants that he/she has the right, authority and capacity to enter into this Agreement and to comply with all of the terms and conditions of this Agreement. The individual shall not impersonate any other person or entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent his/her identity, age or affiliation with any other person or entity.
Prerequisites to benefit from the utsonmobile application service:
Currently, the utsonmobile app is available in Android, Windows and iOS versions.
The smartphone must have good GPRS connectivity.
In order to benefit from the paperless ticketing mode, the smartphone must be equipped with a GPS.
Registration process:
Registration of users to avail the above services can be done through utsonmobile app or website (https://www.utsonmobile.indianrail.gov.in).
The passenger has to provide information such as mobile number, name, password, gender and date of birth for the one-time check-in process.
The mobile application would send an OTP to the mobile number specified in the USER ID field to ensure the validity of the mobile number. After successful registration, an SMS will be sent to inform the user about the successful registration. A zero balance R-Wallet account would be activated.
Connection process:
After registration, the passenger must enter the credentials on the login page to access the utsonmobile application.
Services offered by the utsonmobile application:
1. Book a ticket:
Normal booking (round trip tickets)
Quick booking (round trip tickets)
Platform ticket
Seasonal subscription
QR Reservation (platform tickets, journey and return tickets)
2. Cancellation of ticket :-
Paper tickets with a booking amount higher than the cancellation fee can be cancelled using the utsonmobile app before the ticket is printed. Cancellation of an e-ticket is not permitted.

6. Show the reserved ticket:
With the “Show Ticket” function, the ticket can be presented to the TTE (Travelling Ticket Examiner) or TC. Offline mode is also available to show the e-ticket if the internet connection is not available on the mobile.
Note:-
Paperless ticket booking (reservation and travel) is not allowed inside the train or station premises to avoid booking tickets just by seeing the TTE (Travelling Ticket Examiner) or TC.
To book an e-ticket, the user must be away from the station/railway premises.
For paper ticket booking mode (booking and printing), it is mandatory to print the ticket at ATVM/CoTVM kiosks or general booking counters at the station before boarding the train.
